Welcome to the latest Friday Five. This week, a list of my five favourite drought-tolerant plants that flower, which we have grown at Little Oak, or grow here at Moorfield, or plan to. And of course, to end ‘A lovely little thing…’, to send you off into your weekend with a wee moment that brought me joy.

Little Oak, our first garden, was full of drought-tolerant plants that offered great colour, great texture, attracted beneficial insects, and made for a garden that still looked good in the height of summer and Moorfield, being even hotter. Dryer is using many of these same species and a few new ones that are extra tough.
