The Garden at Moorfield Journal: 8
The Big Picture. The Moorfield Masterplan 03.03.2023
“It takes as much energy to wish as it does to plan” - Eleanor Roosevelt.
Wise words and while I am sure Eleanor wasn’t referring to creating gardens when she said this, potentially world peace which she commented on often is more likely, it applies none the less and I do happen to believe if every person on the planet had a garden to tend, the world would be a better place.
Little Oak, as lovely and whimsical as it was, had no plan, or lets say, “the plan” evolved and came into being as we learnt that plans were an important part of creating a good garden and as a result much needed to be undone and redone and that is both costly financially and in time, both money and time we don’t often have but that’s ok, its not world ending stuff. The journey of learning was still a very rich and joyful experience most days, with a few tough ones for character building thrown in.
