A very young but very robust Golden Queen Peach, flourishing in the orchard with it’s handful of tiny fruit.

Dear Readers,

What do you want from me?

Hello and welcome to the latest of our (Moor)Field Guides. I’ve posed a number of questions to you in this edition so I can make sure that what I am giving you is what you actually want. Answering these couple of questions would be a huge help to me and hopefully benefit you, the reader, going forward by giving you more of what you do want and less of what you don’t. If you have any other feedback please email me at pip@gardenatmoorfield.com.au or leave a comment in the comment section.

When you’re reading this, I will be on the road, halfway between Sydney and Moorfield, in country Victoria, on my way home having spent half the fortnight since you last received a guide, in Sydney. It is a route we take often to visit family and this time, to sadly spend time with Hugo’s father who was admitted to hospital and will likely be there for some time. Hugo has stayed on for a while longer to be of help to his mum.

It is a sad time, a time of lots of unknowns and this has been our focus. I had already part way formed this guide before we received the news so this is what I send you. What I’ve got. Other things will be coming too that I’ve had in the pipeline and am finally ready to pop up, more about that below.

We are discussing quite a number of things but the two main areas of focus this edition are the Rose Garden and Productive Garden, the two busiest areas come spring, which I had a chance to work in prior to this all happening.

So, I am off to finish the journey home, fly solo a little while and try and get some garden work done, amongst life. I hope this finds you all in good health and in good spirits and this can be a nice way to spend a quiet moment with a cuppa and if not, if you too are having a rough time of it, I hope it offers you a moments reprieve from it all.

As always, Pip and family xo

The areas we are focused on in this weeks edition.

But a couple of quick questions first for our paid subscription poll…….
