To tell the story of Little Oak and understand how it came to be that we bought 32 acres and a more than century old, rundown farmhouse in rural Tasmania, we must begin with why we are no longer there and how we came to be here, back on the mainland, at Moorfield, an 1862 homestead and former 900 acre sheep station. And of course, how a couple of images I took on an old camera and a few rambling paragraphs about the peace I found in gardening, brought tens of thousands of strangers into our world and flipped it.
