I love the seed quote, I feel that with 3 week old twins right now. My relationship with the garden has evolved, having turned to the fertility from the garden when it seemed elusive to me, to now letting go of some of the “control” over it the last couple of growing seasons and letting Mother Nature do her thing and give beautiful surprises (including compost sprouted pumpkins and lots of spontaneous tomato plants about the place). I’ve loved having your Substack to connect with over the time and will be back as a paid subscriber when resources allow. Thank you, Molly x
Thank you so much, Molly and a huge congratulations to you on the birth of your twins. What an incredible time in your life and yes, for us women and mothers this is a time of letting go control of our garden worlds to have enough left to hold our other worlds together. I know this feeling. I have comped you for the next year as a paid subscriber so say thank you for your support, thank you for the seeds you have sent me and to give you access to all the upcoming stories of the gardens I am visiting in UK and Europe. I loved delving into reading about gardens when I was up through the night feeding. Hopefully you will get a chance xo
Wonderful read Pip, what a fantastic adventure with your mum! Looking forward to seeing and reading about it ✨
