Here it is! Our Botanical Adventure Itinerary to visit the home of the world's most popular roses, most famous garden show and some of the most celebrated and exciting gardens on the planet!
Wow this is so fantastic Pip! And amazingly I’m here atm and out looking at gardens whilst visiting family in the Cotswolds. It’s bloody cold still but the buds are bursting and everything is so green I am so in awe of being somewhere where it rains!
Oh wow! Yes, we are packing lots of warm clothes too and then the lighter stuff for Italy as I think the days will be warm there. Enjoy your time in that beautiful part of the world xo
Sounds like such an exciting trip. I was lucky enough to visit Hauser and Wirth a few years ago and was blown away by the Piet Oudolf gardens. Totally inspirational! I’m going to UK to visit family in June and am thrilled to discover they’ve planned a visit to Knepp! I am beyond excited. Happy travels!
I am so so excited to visit Hauser and Wirth, especially after Highline, my first Piet Oudolf creation in the flesh. Enjoy Knepp! I had a gardener designer friend tell me all about it and then listening to James Hitchmough speak at the Australian Landscape Conference I am so looking forward to the visit xo
Am going to be pinching myself every minute of it and getting to bring all that learning and inspiration home to Moorfield. Getting to share it here is just a bonus. Thank you for your support 🌱 💚
Meant to tell you that I am so excited you're going to Kepp! I'm currently writing a book about rewilding, so pouring over their talks and books and photos. Someday I will visit in person, but until then I am going to live vicariously through you (if you don't mind, ha!) 😆
Literally just years of reading about certain gardens, word of mouth, invitation, stumbling across them, literally every possible way. Just whatever is open, nearby, sparks my interest, that kind of thing. I love gardens of all kinds, so I don't really have a preference xo
Love your work and sharing of inspiration.
I am very jealous of your trip😊.
Have a fantastic time.
Thank you! I am really excited to take our substack community through most of it with us. Thanks for your support 🌱 💚
Can’t wait 🥰
